Buddies

Good Morning Bloggers,
I'm here this morning to share my card for this weeks Polka Doodles Challenge which is
"Animal Or Bird'.
Here is my take which uses papers and images from one of the newly released CD's 'Pretty Tuff'.
I used Labels 1 Grand Nestabilities for the shape of the card and used ready coloured digis which are great for a quick card.
This week Nikky is offering 3 copies of the brand new 'Candy Doodles' and also be sure to check out Enfy's blog as she is also giving away a copy too ;)
Thanks for dropping by

Just Chillin

Hi guys ;)
I wanted to share a card I made a while back for Polka Doodles using the latest and fabulous CD 'Pretty Tuff'. It's perfect for the guys in your life but it also works great with 'Pretty Sweet' too.
I love the fact that on this CD Nikky gives you the choice of using a black and white image for you to colour or if you want a quick card you also get a pre coloured version which I find very useful for those last minute makes.
I have coloured this little chap and perched him on a pre coloured bench.
I made the cloud effects using my distress ink and a scalloped piece of paper sponging the ink over it lightly.
I'm desperate to get some crafting done but I burnt two of my fingers on the hob so I'm sruggling to bend them at the moment without them cracking open!

Love is in the Air

Hello and welcome to the Sparkle N Sprinkle Deco Divas - Love is in the Air Blog Hop :)
If you have arrived here from the fabulous Julie's blog then you are on the right track ;) However if you just happened to stop by my blog  and would like to participate and be eligible to win the four great prizes you will need to start at the beginning of the hop here at the  Sparkle N Sprinkle blog.
Here is my card for the hop and my card represents 'Love is in the Air' with the sweet little sailor boy and his obvious passion for the great outdoors, sailboats and the sea. I love this calming and relaxed feel this stamp creates.
I wanted to make my card look like an aged postcard and to create this I used my grand labels 23 nestabilites for the card shape and inked around the edge of the card, sentiment and image.
You can purchase this individual stamp here or the whole set here.
If you are participating in this fun fab hop please be sure to leave me a comment and on every other blog and answer the question at the last stop over at Sparkle n Sprinkle to be eligible to win the prize. Your next stop is the wonderful Karalee's blog.
Thank you so much for visiting me ;)

Celebrate Son

Well I can't believe we are nearing December faster than ever! Where has this year gone? I know I've had a wonderful blessed year bringing baby George into the world and he is growing bigger by the day.
Anyway here is one of the cards I made for Nikky from PolkaDoodles for the TV channel - Create and Craft. I have used a newly released and fabulous CD - Pretty Tuff. It's an awesome one for the boys but works fabulously with the Pretty Sweet too.
I love the wonderful colours on this CD they are so vibrant and rich.I coloured the little guy with copics and the border across the bottom is an EK success one. The sentiment is punched with a 1.5" circle punch and framed with scalloped circle nesties.

Happy Father's Day - InStyle Blog Hop

Good Evening Guys,
Can you believe it's time for another blog hop with InStyle Stamps???
The time is flying by I can't believe we are nearly in June!
If you have arrived here from the wonderful Robin's blog then you are on the right track ;0)
Anyways with father's day being just around the corner this month's theme is
'Father's Day'.
I have used Saju and you can purchase him here and also receive your 5% discount ;0)
I really like Saju's happy smile.
I made the coins by cutting out 2 of the smallest nestie circles and then placed the smallest square nestie in the center. I finished them off by distressing around the edge with Tea dye.
I hope you like my card and if you want to be in with a chance of winning some goodies from InStyle Stamps  then hop along to each DT blog and choose your favourite card or project. You will then need to make your vote over at  InStyle Blog.
Your next stop is the very talented Genevieve's blog.

Happy Birthday Son & Brother

Hi Everyone,
I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend soaking up the sun!  We have had barbecues all weekend! Today it's my son's 12th birthday I really can't believe  he will be a  teenager next year!!!
Here are the 2 card I have made one from Ryan and me and the other from Harvey.
For this card I have used 'Ben' available from InStyle Stamps  and you will receive a 5% discount if you use this link ;0)
Owen is a serious gamer and  Ben reminds me of him so much with his hairstyle and big hazel eyes so I knew this would be the perfect image.
Also Regina over at The Cutting Cafe' has designed some fab new birthday sets and here I have used 'Celebration frames' and also 'Celebration circles' and  added the 12 candle image from the 'Birthday Candle set'.
For my next card from Harvey I have just cut out some stars using my nestabilities and added a circle sentiment using the 'Celebration Circles' and
added the Brother text myself.

Best Daddy - InStyle OTHBCGA

Hi,
It's time once again for another OTHBCGA over at the InStyle Blog! Boy where do the months go????
The theme this month is 'Fathers Day'.
I'm also sharing a brand new stamp called 'Father and Kid' from the new 'A Day in the life' collection.
If you use any InStyle link on my post you will receive a 5% discount ;0)
I was quiet anxious to find out how it would turn out with it being a complete scenery stamp as I have never really coloured any images like this before.
I always dread the masculine cards because I'm such a sucker for the pinks but I really like the earthy tones to this card. I also wanted to add some ribbon and I have had a roll of this stuff in my stash for ages now so I decided to add a strip. The sentiment was made by me and to give it a more masculine feel I got out my long lost friend the silent setter!
If you fancy your chance at winning some fab goodies then pop over to the InStyle blog here and join us for some fun.
