Too Cute to Spook

Hello :)

Today I'm sharing a card I've made using one of my many neglected 'Magnolia's'! 

Since I have had my new crafting space I'm determined to use my ever growing craft supplies that I keep replenishing even though there is no need to!

I decided to make a Halloween card seeing as though we are already in October!

 I used one of my new Grand Nestabilities - Labels 23 for the shaped card base and also a new Sizzix Embosslits die's - charm frame which I think is so cute. The sentiment was done on my PC and printed on some Hairy Manilla card which I scoured the internet for and found it here at ecocrafts. I think I will be using a lot more of this stuff as I think it is so versatile.

I coloured Tilda with my coloursoft pencils and blended with Sansodor.

Magnolia - Tilda holding basket

 Hi again Guys,

I'm back with my second post of the day if you are here to see my PDS challenge card then that is right below this post ;0)

Well I really fancied doing a card with one of my Magnolia stamps just for me because after going through all my stamps and putting them in some sort of order I realised I had over 20 un-inked Tilda's!!!

I feel so ashamed to admit I'm still buying craft goods when I have so many things unused. Is anyone else guilty of this too?
I have made the flower myself using nestabilities and very thin card. I will be adding a tutorial later to give exact details even though I know there are tons out there.

The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge

Hi Guys,
Well yesterday I linked my card for The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge and for some reason I accidentally deleted it.............I am not sure how but anyway here it is. I have been wanting to enter for a while now because my poor old Cuttlebug is ever so lonely under my bureau and thought this would be a good chance to use him :0) This week's challenge is a little different because you needed to 'Spot' the Cuttlebug blinkie in 3 different places apart from any of the DT blogs or the site itself. Then you needed to create a project using your favourite embossing folder and you can win all 11 new ones!!!! And that's not all you can win a prize for 2nd,3rd and 4th so what are you waiting for! The paper is from 'Paisley Love' kit from Funky fairy's and I used my paisley embossing folder. Then my newest Nesties - Labels 4 and Tilda. I also added the little 'with love' embossing sentiment. I will be back in a mo with another card for a different challenge

Just Magnolia Sketch Challenge 3

Looking at the pics they look very faded but it is actually the very soft delicate colours I decided to use, not my usual colour choices!
Anyway here is my take on this weeks challenge over at 'Just Magnolia'. The DT creations are just gorgeous and so inspiring so do take a look. For this card I have used some of my DCWV Floral prints mat stack. I added a trim using my fav MS punch and then added a piece of peach satin ribbon. The flowers are from my stash and the leaves were made using my MS branch punch.
I will be posting again later to explain what I used to colour in Tilda and I am so excited.........;0)

1st Challenge For The Pink Elephant

Hi All,
Here is my take on this weeks challenge over at 'The Pink Elephant'. It was to use the colours Pink, Green & Yellow. The DT creations are super.
The gorgeous spotty paper and the note paper with the flowers on is a sneak peek at a brand new set over at' FunkyFairys called Just a Bit which is soon to be released ;0) It really is a gorgeous set with lots of colours and patterns to choose from. For the note paper I printed it on some pearlised card which I have never tried before because I thought it would smear but it turned out beautiful. I love the effect.
Also I just wanted to mention that over at Katharina's blog you could win a set of Whiff Of Joy stamps ... So what are you waiting for ;0)

Magnolia Vs stampavie challenge

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all ready for the Easter bunny ;0)
Here is my take on this weeks challenge over at Magnolia Vs Stampavie. It is my 1st time taking part but I thought I would give it a go seeing as though I now have a nice selection of Magnolia stamps. Do take a look at the DT work it is fab. I used my cheap Partners watercolour pencils (£5.99) and I made the rub on from a dingbat over at ScrapNfonts.

Lavender Tilda

Here is another Magnolia card I have made (yes I am hooked) lol
I thought that this paper from Funkyfairys was perfect for Tilda holding the Lavender and based the card on this colour. The paper is from a set called 'Hope'. I added some ribbon and flowers with skittles and my fav punch MS doily lace.

Princess Grace

Firstly I just want to mention the fab Magnolia stamps my fellow DT friend Claudia is giving us the chance to win.....Take a look at Claudia's fab work.
Here is my next Tilda creation which I have made for my friends little girl Grace. She will be 4 on Sunday and Owen and Harvey are going to the party where there will be a magic show, I can't believe Harvey will be 4 next.....time just flies, talking of which where did this week go?
I used DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies paper and printed out the scalloped sentiment and stem both from The Cutting Cafe'. I then added some skittles and embellishments to complete.

1st Tilda & the Perfect Egg!

Well what can I say other than I am totally and utterly hooked........... I know that there is much room for improvement in the colouring department (especially the face - she looks like she has bad jaundice & too much blusher on) and this is the second attempt I ended up colouring another face cutting it out and placing it on top of the original lol but I am loving the magnolia stamps! I ordered my first 5 last week and I am now waiting for batch 3 in the post to make a grand total of (15) yes you heard me right 15 stamps in under 1 week........I am not even a stamper! To be honest I have been feeling a bit stressed over the past few weeks so colouring in these adorable images will definitely be the therapy I need ;o)
Anyway the fab shaped card and the sentiment is from The Cutting cafe' from one of the 3 new wonderful Easter sets which can be viewed here.

Magnolia stamps

Well I am soooooo excited and very lucky........
I have just received my 1st Magnolia stamps this morning!!!! I am so in to stamping at the moment and can't wait to have a play with these adorable images. My very kind hubby ordered me these and I have more to arrive in the post. As you can see in the background my sewing machine sits which I got also from hubby in November and I still have not had the chance to use it....
