Good Morning Campers,

It's time for the very first Polka Doodle Challenge of 2012 and what a fab 1st challenge it is too......a sketch to get you right back into the swing of things.

I must admit  I was a tad scared of the  'Use shades of Grey' part but I think I managed to pull it off even though  I just love bright colourful creations I think this card pops!

I think these papers and toppers from the 'Not for Girls Definitely  for Men' CD are just super and there really is something on it for everyone.

Nativity Aperture card

Hello Everyone :)

Are you ready for the last challenge of the year with Polka Doodles?

This weeks challenge is hosted by Daniele and she would like to see you create an aperture card

I decided to make a nativity scene using 'Magical Winter'.

 I followed a tutorial over at whiff of joy to make this cute little card box.

I think these would make that perfect little extra decoration for yourself or to send to someone special.

This would actually fold flat to fit in a 5 x 5 envelope without the roof added.

Swirls and Pearls

Happy Friday people and welcome to another challenge at PolkaDoodles.

This week Daniele is hosting the challenge and she wants to see pretty swirls and/or pearls on your creations.

I decided to use the 'Pretty Sweet" CD  again...... can you tell how much I love it? lol

The sweet little image and the spotty paper and sentiment is 'Pretty Sweet' and the pink swirly and flower paper is from the wonderful 'Sugar Birdies' CD. The flowers I made using a couple of punches and with a mixture of both papers. The image was coloured using copics and the border is an EK
 Success one.

It would  have also been my Beautiful and wonderful Grandma's birthday today so even though she is sadly no longer with us I would like to say how much she truly meant to me and how much I have missed her and always will. She was one very special lady who I adored xoxox.

Little Miss scotty

Hello and Happy Friday :)

I'm back to share another card for this weeks challenge at PolkaDoodles which is hosted by Fliss.

The challenge is to make a shaped card and I love shaped cards so I really enjoyed this one.

What made this even more fun is that I was able to use my pazzle to cut out the little doggy using 'Paper Boutique vol 3' which is packed full of fab and fun templates.

Here I've used 'Buster' but decided to make him into a her lol

I decided if I can make 'Buster' a girl then why not have a spotty little doggy too! I have used 'Pretty Sweet' for the papers another fab CD full of goodies for you ;)

YNS Blog Hop

Good Morning,

Welcome to the YNS Blog Hop and if you have arrived here from the wonderfully talented Kerrie's blog then you are on the right track. If not you need to start at the beginning over at the fabulously talented Karen's blog here ;0)
This time we are actually combining this hop with this weeks challenge which is to use a 'Big Bow'.

We have some brand new releases to share with you today and I'm sure you are going to love them all.  The DT have either created an Easter or Mothers Day theme depending on what stamps we have chosen.

I chose 'Fluffy Chick with Eggs' so Mine is an Easter Theme. I have made a little Easter basket with a matching card using the new stamps. 

For my card I wanted to keep it clean and simple with the paper and egg stamps being the main focus. The paper is from a set from a few years back called 'Spring' by Papermania. I then just stamped the eggs out a couple of times and coloured them with my Copics.

The Easter Basket is a cut file from The Cutting Cafe' and it was so quick and easy to assemble. You will get the template for a basket to hold 1 and 4 eggs. I used the one to hold 1 small Cadbury's cream egg but you can resize if you want to. The cute little chick at the front comes with the eggs and also the Spring sentiment.

Pixie Dust Challenge#7 & New Releases

Good Morning Guys,

I'm so excited today because the Paper Pixies have so many wonderful creations to share with you! Firstly we have the Pixie Dust Challenge which is today and we want you to use a 'Decorative border' on your creations.

For my card I used this cheeky little monkey which is from today's new release 'Wild Flowers' and he was a dream to colour.

 I used my MS branch punch to add some dimension to the branch  and my new MS loop punch for my decorative edge. I made the sentiment myself in AI.

YNS Challenge#7- Embosssing

Sorry this a few days late but hopefully I'm nearly caught up with most of my creations. The pic's are not that great either with lack of sunlight so I do apologize!
This card is for the new challenge over at YNS. This week our host is the fabulous Maylee and she wanted us to use any sort of embossing on our creations - Dry or heat.

Now for my card I decided to use the adorable ' Bob the Beaver' it really does make me giggle! I used my circle nesties and ran it through my Cuttlebug a second time to emboss the outside.

Pixie Dust Challenge #3 FAB

Hi Guys,
I'm desperately trying to catch up with my DT stuff at the moment because we have had one thing after another go wrong since Christmas :0( First our Laptop crashed after a really bad virus decided to attack it, then the day after New Year's Day we skidded on some black ice and the car has been wrote off and now to top it all off over here in the UK we are covered over in snow with more forecast and our boiler decided to die on us!!!!! On a good note though Harvey started school on Tuesday which we were both really anxious about (me more to be honest) and thankfully he loves it and was really upset yesterday when school was closed :0) He is only there from 9.15 - 11.15 but I really miss him!

Right onto my creation for today and it is for our 3rd challenge over at Pixie Dust Challenge blog.
