Time to meet the Anime Team

Well here is what I've been terribly excited about sharing with you and it is that I have been selected to be part of the Anime DT for InStyle Stamps!!!! I read my email over and over again and pinched myself to believe it was for real!! lol I absolutely love InStyle designs because they are so fresh and modern and I really can't wait to start designing with the Anime Images. Please check out all the new DT members on my sidebar and you will see how talented they are.
Now this cute little bag was one of the creations I made when I submitted my DT application and I think it is so pretty.

Ava is so delicate and feminine and you can choose from different designs over at InStyle and right now there is a huge sale on where you can choose almost any digi or stamp for a great price ;0) I coloured Ava prior to purchasing my Copics and used my Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor and then added some Glamour Dust to her wings. The cute little heart bag is a file from The Cutting Cafe' and the paper is a download called Nana's Wallpaper from FunkyFairys.

Now on to some sad news my time with FunkyFairys has come to the end and I will surely miss all the girls on the team they have all been wonderful to work with and Shaz has been fab to design for so Thank you girls for making my time at FF's so enjoyable and keep up the great work :) My DT term is almost up too with MyGrafico and if you check out the Challenge blog the details are up for the new DT if you would like to apply ;0)

FunkyFairys - Challenge 41 - Fall

Good Morning Bloggers,
This is my 1st card of the day and it is for FunkyFairy's challenge this week which is to create a Fall project. I was initially thinking of using the usual warm tones until this image and sentiment came to mind and i knew exactly what papers i wanted to use.

I used 'Gorjuss Ginghams' which you can purchase at FunkyFairys and i think this set is so versatile. It is perfect for this image. FunkyFairys - Challenge 40 -Touchy Feely

Good Morning Guys,
Today is challenge time over at FunkyFairys Challenge blog and this week we want you to create a project incorporating different textures. As usual the DT have come up with some wonderful projects to fill you with lot's of inspiration and once again you will be in with a chance of winning a FunkyFairy download in the random draw. Now onto my creation did i mention that i love the new easel cards and that you would be seeing a lot more from me? Well here is another i have made and i was really happy the way this one turned out.

I also found another stamp store which i love called InStyle stamps which sell the most fabulous Anime designs!! I love the instant gratification of Digis so i decided to purchase more than a few! lol This stamp is called 'Scarf Chic' and i adore her all wrapped up for winter. They also have a fabulous sale on at the moment so why not have a treat! lol

The paper for the top and bottom part of my card is from a new set called 'A lil Blue Christmas Cracker' and the sentiment is also new called 'Christmas Punchems' both from FunkyFairys. For the bottom i used my EK arrows punch and added ribbon on top. I embossed the labels with my snowflake embossing folder. Hope you like it ;0)

MyGrafico Challenge 21 - Retro inspired

Hi Guys,
Sorry I've been absent recently but my mum has been in hospital for an operation. Everything is fine but I'm rather behind with my DT stuff so I have got plenty of catching up to do.
Here is today's challenge over at MyGrafico challenge blog and today's challenge is to create a retro card using the colours Red, White and Turquoise and also polka dots. You can win this retro set by joining in this fun challenge. The polka dot paper is a download from Funky Fairys called Just a Bit which i seem to use all the time i just love it. I printed the paper directly on to a 5 x 5" card base.

YNS 1st Challenge - Pink & Yellow (Winners Updated)

Good Morning again as this is my second post today already!
Today is very special over at YNS because it is the very 1st Challenge on the YNS Challenge blog!!

Funky Fairys- Challenge 37 - Alter it!

Good morning,
Today's Challenge over at Funky Fairys Challenge blog is to 'Alter It'. I decided to make a clip board and covered it with papers from 'Cupcake Crazy'. I then got a couple of wooden clothes pegs and carefully drew around the shape on my chosen paper which was from the set called 'A lil bit of happy' and then carefully scalped around the peg. After sticking the paper to the pegs i applied some Mod Podge to seal and protect them. To finish it off i attached the magnet to the back of my peg and attached the peg to my chipboard and it makes an ideal little memo board for your fridge ;0) To be in with a chance of winning a Funky Fairy download you must use at least one Funky Fairy item on your altered creation ;0)

For this card I used 'Rainy Day Fhiona' from YNS and I'm sure you will agree she is just so cute! The dotted paper is from Funky Fairys called 'Dainty Dots' and the set comes with a variety of gorgeous colours. The sentiment is also part of the stamp set from YNS. To colour the image i used Derwent Coloursoft pencils and Zest it to blend. To give the card some texture i used Swiss dots Cuttlebug folder :0)

I really enjoyed following this sketch and knew immediately which image and papers i wanted to use. The flower head digi was perfect for printing twice and then cutting and adding extra petals to the original image for a 3D effect. Hi guys,
Are you ready for the weekend? This week went by so quickly I can't believe it! Anyway here is a card I made using a new set from The Cutting Cafe' called 'Witches Hat' and it comes with a WPC and a PDF file and also 2 sentiments to go with it. I love the symmetry of this hat it gives it a real modern look. The green elegant paper is also a new set from Funky Fairys and is called 'Fancy Flourish'. Shaz has done some wonderful new collections and there is a fabulously spooky one just in time for your Halloween creations. Hope you have a super weekend :0)

Funky Fairy's 'Case It Challenge' & Blog Hop.........

I decided to case this delightful card from my DT buddy Louise because i think it is soooooo Funky.

The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge

Hi Guys,
Well yesterday I linked my card for The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge and for some reason I accidentally deleted it.............I am not sure how but anyway here it is. I have been wanting to enter for a while now because my poor old Cuttlebug is ever so lonely under my bureau and thought this would be a good chance to use him :0) This week's challenge is a little different because you needed to 'Spot' the Cuttlebug blinkie in 3 different places apart from any of the DT blogs or the site itself. Then you needed to create a project using your favourite embossing folder and you can win all 11 new ones!!!! And that's not all you can win a prize for 2nd,3rd and 4th so what are you waiting for! The paper is from 'Paisley Love' kit from Funky fairy's and I used my paisley embossing folder. Then my newest Nesties - Labels 4 and Tilda. I also added the little 'with love' embossing sentiment. I will be back in a mo with another card for a different challenge

Cupcake with a twist

Good Morning guys, hope you are all well. The weather in the UK is drab and miserable just what we expect in good old England! lol Anyways here is a bright and cheerful creation i made for my Funky fairy's DT. It was made using the gorgeous Cupcake set which is truly irresistible ;0) I love all the colours and patterns in this set they are so fresh and versatile. Shaz has done some gorgeous new kits so make sure to pop over to Funky Fairy's and check them out. Now on to the actual design of this adorable little cupcake holder this is from The Cutting cafe' and you get 2 boxes, one to hold one cupcake and the other to hold 2. I decided to use a pair of socks and use them to make a little cupcake for something different. I saw this done by one of my DT sisters from The Cutting Cafe' - Tracy Gough. Now if you have never visited before I suggest you do because Tracy does the most beautiful creations.

Note Book & Pen

Hello Crafty friends,
This little cute notebook and pen holder was so easy to make and I think they would make great little extra gifts to put with presents. I was browsing the internet a few weeks back and found the most creative blog called Devotion to the Dream. Emma makes the most inspiring projects and this is where I found the template for this notebook. It was so simple to and quick to make and I think they look really neat.
Anyway for this one I used the delicious new set called Cupcake crazy which consists of 3 parts which you can buy individually or you can just buy the the whole set for £8.99 (a bargain)! The note papers inside are also from the set and you can view it here at FunkyFairys.
