Love is in the Air

Hello and welcome to the Sparkle N Sprinkle Deco Divas - Love is in the Air Blog Hop :)
If you have arrived here from the fabulous Julie's blog then you are on the right track ;) However if you just happened to stop by my blog  and would like to participate and be eligible to win the four great prizes you will need to start at the beginning of the hop here at the  Sparkle N Sprinkle blog.
Here is my card for the hop and my card represents 'Love is in the Air' with the sweet little sailor boy and his obvious passion for the great outdoors, sailboats and the sea. I love this calming and relaxed feel this stamp creates.
I wanted to make my card look like an aged postcard and to create this I used my grand labels 23 nestabilites for the card shape and inked around the edge of the card, sentiment and image.
You can purchase this individual stamp here or the whole set here.
If you are participating in this fun fab hop please be sure to leave me a comment and on every other blog and answer the question at the last stop over at Sparkle n Sprinkle to be eligible to win the prize. Your next stop is the wonderful Karalee's blog.
Thank you so much for visiting me ;)
Hugs

I always have problems trying to make a more masculine card for a guy or even a little boy. You did a very nice job on this. I love that you inked the edges. I ink the edges of pretty much everything I do. I think it doesn't seem complete without a little edge inking.

Love the shape and how you "popped" out the phrase. The little sailor button was a fun addition. Your coloring is awesome too and the entire card is just perfect!

Lana, I have that little sailor boy image and have never even used it yet. Thanks for reminding me to get it out. It is so perfect for the patriotic theme you chose for coloring too.

Nice unique card. I like how you used a different shape card - not the traditional square.
