It's been so long and here's why.........................

I really can't believe it's been 4 months since I last blogged or did any crafting. First back in June we had a huge job done by knocking our dining room through to our kitchen and having a new kitchen diner fitted which took up so much time. When the work finally got completed at the beginning of July I realised I was PREGNANT! Anyways we had planned for the pregnancy and was delighted it had happened so quickly but by the time I was 5 weeks I was so nauseous I could barely manage to lift myself out of bed. Then at around 10 weeks I started vomiting daily and had no appetite I really did feel awful!
I'm now nearly 17 weeks and for the past few days I think I'm starting to feel a little better and I haven't been sick since last Sunday so fingers and toes crossed! I can honestly say that I'm still waiting patiently to get that blooming pregnancy look and glow but my face still looks like a pizza with all the spots I have broken out in and I have no colour!
I thought I would share this pic of my 12 week scan with you all I think it's so clear!
Everyone is guessing I'm having a girl with feeling so different but as long as baby is healthy that is all that matters. If any of you guys had boy/girl did you have different symptoms?
If all remains good I'm planning on starting back crafting over the next few days so watch this space.
I have really missed you all and your amazing creations and can't wait to get back into the swing of things.
Hugs
Lana

HUGE CONGRATULATIONs to your and your sweet family sweetie...I did wonder where you had been hiding and have missed your blogging!! I was just as sick as you too...mine went past 20 week mark and then eased off which was like heaven...I too couldn't do anything and was so sick and felt sick all day long....I had 2 little girls, I hear that with carrying girls generally, but I suppose everyone is different...sometimes you can tell from the scan pics if it's a good pic and you know what you are looking for!! I hope to see abit more of you now that the sickness is wearing off...missed you :) big hugs to you, Bonnie xx

WOW!!! Congrats, Lana!!! I'm so excited for both of you! Yes, I had different symptoms with my boy than I did with my girls. Had two girls first and zero problems with morning sickness. With my third one, it was totally different. Sick and nauseous. but who the heck really knows! I'm just glad you're feeling better!

Oh wow - what fabulous news! I only had a boy - and was sick as a dog! I too got given tablets, they helped quite alot - I work so had to go in and keep going - although I remember one day I vomitted 25 times and then stopped counting!

It does pass - huge big hugs to you - and massive congratulations!

Oh wow a huge Congratulations Lana. You sound like me when I was pregnant with my little girl except I was the opposite. With my two boys I had morning sickness and with my Missy I had none at all. I craved savoury food instead of sweet as well.
Take care. Can't wait to see some new creations when you are up to it.

Congrats on your pregnancy! I sure do feel for you! I had a very similar experience with my third pregnancy. It's not fun but in the end it's all worth it. My little guy is now almost fourteen and I would go through it all over again to get him. I hope you're over the morning sickness and can start to enjoy your pregnancy. It's good to see you blogging again.

Awwwww Lama, I mean Lana, lol!! I usually do things like join in with challenge blogs and leave a link to the challenge blog instead of to my own project, so an M instead on an N is hardly noticeable!! Congratulations on the baby and welcome back to blogland!! I hope that the morning sickness eases up for you soon. I lived off of Ginger Ale and Saltines for a good two months when I was pregnant with my son. Thanks for stopping by my blog and good luck with the candy!!
hugs, stephanne

Many, many congratulations Lana! I'm so happy for you. I sympathise with your horrible sickness - I was the same with all 3 of mine (2 boys and a girl) but at 17 weeks it disappeared so I hope you also continue to feel better from now on! x
